Early Fighter Doctrine is an Air Doctrine technology field. Each doctrine improves fighter wing organization and morale.
Description[]
Early Fighter Doctrine applies to the interwar period of air doctrine development. It is the initial doctrine for use of large groups of airplanes. These were originally composite groups, so these doctrines also include some aspects of ground attack and other missions besides air combat. Mastering these ideas is critical to developing the more specialized disciplines later on.

Effects[]
Completion of the field is necessary to proceed with further air doctrine research. It permits the country to branch out into studies on close air support as well as tactical and strategic bombing. Completion in total gives a 6% boost to organization and morale of fighters, escorts, interceptors, and carrier air groups. Initial research makes it possible to launch several basic air missions:
- Convoy Air Raiding
- Ground Attack
- Installation Strike
- Interdiction
- Logistical Strike
- Naval Strike
- Port Strike
- Runway Cratering
- Strategic Bombardment
